I don’t think I’m bullshitting anybody when I say that this compilation, a CD bringing together only Spanish bands from such anti-commercial styles as dark folk, spoken word or dark ambient, was a major milestone in the Spanish dark scene. Many saw it as a suicidal move, but it quickly became a widespread success thanks to the incredible quality of each and every one of its tracks. It definitely showed that even the most unconventional projects can be brought to fruition when professionality and a focus on quality are present.

This CD managed to make many of the featured bands known throughout all Europe, showing that our scene, although dispersed, is up to the standards of any international outfit. A great pride, no doubt, for all participants.

Both the Morpheus and Chaos Condensed tracks are exclusive for this compilation, and do not appear in any other of the bands’ recordings.
