Honestly, I’m sick and tired of maintaining this place, this shrine to everything great I ever did and which nobody cares about anymore. I don’t have the time, the energy or the motivation. All the projects featured here are long dead except for Winter Trees Stand Naked, and I seem to be the only person in the world who cares about that.

So this is it. Chaospiral Studios ends here and I don’t even feel like writing a proper farewell. I’ll get in touch with my hosting provider to see whether I can get any money back by cancelling early, and if not, I’ll just leave it to rot until the next renewal date comes.

Fuck you, world. You never deserved what I tried to give to you.

I’m still seeing hundreds of hits (yesterday there were almost 2000) arriving from phishing emails and the like though, so in case you’re here due to a scam attempt, rest assured that not only do I have nothing to do with this, but I’m doing my best to get rid of this bullshit once and for all. There shouldn’t be any suspicious files or pages left, but please let me know if you run into any!

Also, the album is now available at Last.fm too, for those of you who use this service. It’s not so convenient since you have to download the tracks one by one instead of having the option to grab the album as a single file like in Bandcamp, but I wanted the songs to be streamable through their radio service and Last.fm’s profile page is nicer too, so there it is!

I also mentioned on Facebook that there would be a preview of the album sometime in Autumn. I was going to choose a couple of tracks for an early teaser, but actually, it would be kind of cool to have you choose the two tracks you’d most like to listen to based only on the titles. So if you’re particularly curious about any of them, let me know and, as long as it’s finished and ready for public exposure, I’ll give it a vote.
