Varias Buenas Cosas que se han confirmado:
- Como Morpheus, participaré en el debut discográfico de Der Blaue Reiter (proyecto Dark Ambient/Orquestal de Sathorys Eleanorth, líder de Narsilion, Lugburz y Ordo Funebris) con voces y textos sobre algunos de los temas ya anticipados en la versión maqueta de “Le Paradis Funebre“. El digipack, que según las últimas noticias contará con artwork de Ricardo Marichal, será publicado por Caustic Records.
- Como yo mismo, protagonizaré una exposición/venta fotográfica durante todo el mes de Junio en el café-restaurante Inshalá, un sitio muy agradable con decoración de inspiración árabe, luces bajas y ambiente relajado. Si nunca habéis visto fotos mías fuera de la pantalla del ordenador, os recomiendo la experiencia. ¡El tríptico de “Mr.Strange” a 30×60 o “Ce n’est pas un chapeau” a 30×40 enmarcadas y bordeadas impresionan!
- Elvis nunca salió del edificio. Gracias a Bodacius por ayudarme a conseguir la foto que demuestra que toda esa gente que lo ha visto en Wal-Marts a lo largo de EEUU en realidad estaba siendo víctima de experimentos alienígenas de control mental:

- As Morpheus, I will collaborate in the “official” debut of Sathorys Eleanorth’s (Lugburz, Narsilion, Ordo Funebris) dark ambient/martial project, Der Blaue Reiter. I will add vocals and texts to some of the original tracks from the demo version of “Le Paradis Funebre“. According to the latest news, the digipack will feature artwork by Ricardo Marichal and will be released by Caustic Records.
- As Myself, I will be featured in a photographic exhibition/sale which will take place during the whole month of June in Inshalá, an arab-inspired café/restaurant with dim lights and confy atmosphere. If you’ve only seen my photographs on a computer screen, I would recommend you take a look. A 30×60 “Mr.Strange” tryptich or a 30×40 “Ce n’est pas un chapeau” look quite impressive!

A partir de hoy, los visitantes de Chaospiral Studios podréis ver un nuevo y reluciente botón de PayPal en todas las páginas principales del dominio, y una nueva sección a la derecha de este blog llamada “Donaciones”. Parece ser que hay mucha gente ahí afuera que prefiere donar 5€ antes que comprar una foto por 1’50, y qué le voy a hacer, tengo que respetar eso (sonrisa).
El importe lo elige el donante y no hay fijada ninguna cantidad mínima. Espero que esto venga bien a todos aquellos que al vivir fuera de España no les resulta rentable pagar gastos de envío de fotos o CDs, o a aquellos que no pueden permitirse 15€ o más por una foto pero que aún así quieren aportar algo más que una palmadita en la espalda.
Todo facilidades, así soy yo. Entregado a mi público (algún día os encontraré; ¡sé que estáis ahí afuera!).

As there is no minimum donation stablished, you can choose whatever amount you wish. Oh, sí, es Otra Reseña De “Ciertos animales de costumbres discretas”. Pero no pulsen el botón de borrar todavía, porque esta es especial. Viene de Machinist, un webzine industrial-noise bielorruso que tiene el pequeño inconveniente, de nuevo, de estar redactado en una lengua absolutamente opaca para mí, en este caso el ruso. Supuse que iba a quedarme sin saber qué ponía.
Error. Esta vez el traductor automático funcionó.
Sí, sé que no hay forma de conseguir una traducción “correcta” usando estos artilugios, pero sí que puede obtenerse cierta idea general del significado del texto. Y cuando en el traductor aparecen frases como “strained, monotonic, by in no way original and by terribly dull” o “Honestly speaking, i even do not have desire to in detail describe this release”, puedes estar razonablemente seguro de que al tipo gustarle, lo que se dice gustarle, no le ha gustado. No.
Por otro lado, que un webzine ruso de electro-industrial-noise reseñe un trabajo de spoken word en español es como… en fin. Inserte aquí la comparación ingeniosa que proceda.
Supongo que esto significa que ya no tendremos oportunidad de tocar en Bielorrusia. Con la ilusión que me hacía.

It comes from Machinist, an online industrial ‘zine from Belorussia. The thing is that it’s written in Russian, so I figured I wouldn’t be able to understand it at all.
Wrong. This time online translation worked.
Yes, I know there’s no way you can get a “correct” translation out of these devices, but you can get a hint at the general context. And when things like “strained, monotonic, by in no way original and by terribly dull” or “Honestly speaking, i even do not have desire to in detail describe this release” pop up, you can very much assume safely that the guy didn’t exactly e-n-j-o-y your stuff.
On the other hand, having a spanish spoken word album reviewed by a russian electro-noise-industrial webzine is like well… insert clever comparison here.
So, I guess this means we won’t have the chance to play in Belorussia. Geez. That’s tough.
